Simon Stephenson, Managing Director (MD)
In this role as Managing Director, Mr. Stephenson is in charge of the strategic direction and management of the company's operations. His core responsibilities will include forging closer business alliances with customers and merchant partners, enhancing SPS brand awareness and delivering proven, locally-relevant processing solutions.
Mr Stephenson has a wealth of global professional experience within the payments technology arena. Prior to joining SPS, Mr Stephenson was Group Head, Technology Relationship Management, Technology and Operations Asia/Pacific, Middle East & Africa, MasterCard Worldwide, based in Singapore. He joined MasterCard in 1993 as Director of Debit Operations for the Asia/Pacific region. In 1995, he moved to St. Louis to assume the position of Vice President of Systems Development in the MasterCard Global Technology and Operations division. Mr Stephenson then moved to Belgium in 2001, where he worked for three years as Head of Applications Delivery during the convergence of the Europay/MasterCard systems.
Mr Stephenson has 28 years experience in the computer industry, primarily in the development and running of Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) related systems. Prior to joining MasterCard, he spent 15 years working in real-time communications development. He implemented ACI Base 24 system for Credit Unions and Building Societies in Australia and led the development of an EFT switch to replace the ACI Base 24 system. He was also a Systems Integration Consultant for organizations such as First Data and Citibank.
David Campbell, Chief Information Officer (CIO)
David joined SPS in April 2007, bringing to the table more than 25 years experience in the strategic design, architecture, development and implementation of electronic payments solutions in Australia, including hardware, software, database design and communications. Before joining SPS, David had worked in various senior positions at Hypercom Australia Pty Ltd, KeyCorp Limited, HyperCom Communication Technologies and EFTEL. David has extensive experience in POS, internet payments gateway, billing and smart card systems.
Raj Khatri, Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Raj has more then 20 years experience in finance. He joined SPS in October 2006 and brings a wealth of experience to the company. Before joining SPS, Raj had held various senior financial roles in a range of industries including financial services, manufacturing, government, health and professional services. He also has extensive international experience having worked in China, UK, Canada and South Africa. Raj is a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia and is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.
