As a company, we have achieved enormous success in our short history. That, in part, is thanks to our strategic alliances with Bendigo Bank, Customers Limited and MasterCard Worldwide. This joint venture meant we could leverage the strengths of our partners and secure a firm footing in the market. The results speak for themselves:

  • we launched in December 2006
  • within 6 months we had deployed a proven, state-of-the-art, flexible, dynamic open architecture electronic payments processing platform
  • today SPS is driving over 19,000 ATM and EFTPOS devices
  • in 2008 SPS succesfully processed over 100 million transactions
  • we have a successful and proven disaster recovery and failover capability
  • in September 2007 we launched a GPRS EFTPOS device
  • our help desk is available 24/7, handling over 10,000 calls per month
  • more than 20 device certifications (ATM and EFTPOS) have been completed
  • we’ve executed 5-year contracts with two of our founding clients: Bendigo Bank and Customers Limited
  • there are no legacy issues
  • we have successfully completed our first Business Continuity Exercise
  • in 2009 SPS Australia assisted GRG International, a new entrant into the Australian ATM market, establish their service offering
  • in 2009 SPS commenced development to work to migrate domestic and host bi-lateral links from MasterCard onto the SPS Production switch.
  • in 2010 SPS Australia assisted CashPlus establish their ATM service offering.
  • in 2010 SPS Australia migrated MIGS Switch to acquire transaction traffic from MasterCard to the SPS Production switch.
